The eighth night ultramarathon CrazyOwl50 Prophetic Oleg, mighty Volkhov will take place in the incredibly rich places in terms of history and nature of the Leningrad Region!
The idea to create a crazy night start with a bright rock and roll atmosphere, the location of which would never be repeated, appeared more than 10 years ago, but the first CrazyOwl50 race was held only in 2018 and gathered then 500 athletes.
Currently, a noisy and supportive fraternity of ultramarathon runners of more than two thousand athletes has already visited the Tver, Kaluga, Ivanovo and other regions, and the number of those wishing to take part in this crazy start is steadily growing!
In 2026, we invite athletes to go with us to the Leningrad Region!
We will have the constant attributes of the CrazyOwl50 race - a rock and roll music concert and a powerful show of artists before the start, an arch and a corridor surrounded by tongues of flame, fire and volleys of fireworks.
Lyubshanskaya Fortress - the oldest stone and earth fortress on the territory of Ancient Rus', quarries where trilobite fossils over 450 million years old are found, waterfalls and much more await athletes at CrazyOwl50 2026 Prophetic Oleg, the mighty Volkhov!
(English trail running)
At the distance, athletes will find solitude in mystical historical places, which will help them hear their own voice and themselves more clearly, escaping from the bustle of the metropolis.
This is a start for those whose soul longs for adventure, meeting with the same, like you, in a unique atmosphere of brotherhood and a new location every year.
All finishers of the 50K and 20K distances receive an official ITRA assessment from the International Trail Running Association.
